The city of Dayton has a rich history of generations of laborers in foundries, the factories which produce metal castings. The strength, grit, and fire of these workers were the inspiration for The Foundry at the AC Hotel, featuring one of the best liquor programs in the state along with internationally inspired cuisine and hearty American favorites.

 

Everything we do stems from the hard-working mentality of fellow Daytonians and the heat from our wood-fired kitchen. From shareables like wood-fired raclette with fresh market vegetables to handheld paninis and flatbreads, our food is brought to life by the flame. And with a combination of smoked whiskeys, classic cocktails, and local brews, you’ll always have the perfect pairing of spirits to enhance that heat.

 

Made for Dayton locals, or those local for the day, we invite you to come as you are: in your cocktail best, or jeans and a t-shirt. Either way, you’ll feel the warmth from our flame-fired kitchen, welcoming team in the front and back of house, and the sun setting on our sixth-floor rooftop.
